Baxenden St John’s

CE Primary School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our school website!  We are a friendly welcoming school with a strong Christian ethos, closely linked to St John’s Church and the community of Baxenden.

We have high expectations of what our children can achieve, and strive to inspire all children to develop a love of learning through our broad and balanced creative curriculum, so that they make good progress and attain their very best; becoming confident and successful individuals who can flourish in our ever-changing world. We are a school where high expectations in all areas is the norm and where the love of God motivates all actions; this means that we also respect and honour people from a diversity of faiths and cultures.

We hope that our website gives you a taste of life within our school and helps you to discover more about us, the achievements of our children and the exciting opportunities we provide! I hope it will encourage you to visit us to see what school life is like at Baxenden St. John’s – a warm welcome will await you from our whole school family!
