Spring Term 2 2023

This half term we will be exploring the science theme of Plants. We will use our scientific knowledge to find out about the different parts of the plant and which parts are edible. We have already started to chit our potatoes before we plant them. We will observe the growth of these over the year, harvesting them in the summer and eventually cooking our own potato soup on the camp fire at Forest School.

Our science topic will also allow us to study famous Botanists and their work. We will also link our learning of plants to fruit to help us design and make our own healthy fruit kebab.
