Girls’ Biggest Football Session – 08/03/23

On Wednesday 8th March, our Football Ambassadors, along with our Well-being Warriors, held a whole school worship to introduce the #LetGirlsPlay #BiggestEverFootballSession for the girls in school. Participation was extremely high and the Football Ambassadors planned a delivered sessions for all year groups to participate football activities. Even our EYFS boys were impacted by the worship as they went back to class and decided to build their own Sports Bar in their outdoor area complete with big screen to watch the girls. They even added a radiator as it is cold in Baxenden. The Football Ambassadors are now busy working on a timetable to allow girls to have their own sessions in the yard during lunchtimes.
