Hyndburn Netball League B

It has been an amazing year for our two netball teams this year and both teams should be very proud of the success they have shown. In our final fixture our A team remained undefeated and managed to maintain this record in their final matches to take the title of League Champions. Our B team showed impressive progress in their final matches to climb to 4th in the league table. Well done to all players and a big thank you to Vicky Bolton, Max’s mum for helping out at the fixtures.

As league champions, our A team played in the playoffs against the A league winners, St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle. The match was full of determination, skills, energy and resilience and despite St Mary’s taking the win the team should be very proud of their performance.

Our Year 6 squad have been using the final weeks of the summer term to introduce our year 4s to the sport. We have been busy looking at passing, jumping, footwork, positions and shooting ready for the new season in September.
