Welcome Back

Welcome back to Year 5. I hope that you have had a lovely summer and that your child is rested ready for the busy year ahead. My name is Mrs Sudworth and I have been teaching for 23 years. Most of that time has been in KS2, mostly in Year 6. It is expected that children in Year 5 and 6 read every night and complete TTRockstars and Spelling Shed. We are also using an online programme called Reading Plus this year. We will use this 3 times a week in class and the children can also access it at home. I have used it in other schools and seen a marked improvement when used regularly. I’m really looking forward to working with your children and yourselves.
