Times Tables Rockstar Day 2023- Wednesday 1st November

On Wednesday 1st November, the whole school took part in a Times Tables Rockstar Day to raise the profile of our Times Tables Rockstar programme and highlight the importance of children knowing their times table facts.
The day started with all children coming to school dressed as rock stars. We then had an assembly to show children how to access the programme and the different games that children can play.
Four children from years 5 and 6 (Harry D, Halle, Lucy K and Logan) are now our Times Tables Rockstar Champions who will be keeping track of battles and encouraging children to play as often as they can. These children also demonstrated to the rest of the school how quickly they can answer times table questions.

Children went back to classes to have a go at playing Times Table Rockstars and having battles in their classes.
We hope that all children will use Times Table Rockstars regularly to improve their fluency skills. Please take a look at our photos from the day.
