Thought for the half term: At Baxenden, we believe that forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts God gives us. Throughout His life, Jesus showed forgiveness, kindness and compassion, teaching us to forgive others just as God forgives us. We encourage our children to say sorry when they make mistakes, to forgive when others have hurt them, and to work together to rebuild friendships. Forgiveness helps us to learn from our actions, make positive choices and move forward with a caring and loving heart. By following the example of Jesus, our children learn that forgiveness brings peace, strengthens relationships and reflects God’s endless love for each and every one of us. We believe that thankfulness helps us to recognise and appreciate the many blessings God has given us.
