Truthfulness

The meaning of Truthfulness is: “always telling the truth and being completely honest with yourself and others”. This means that we must always share what really happened and not tell lies or make things up that are fake.
Thought for the half term: At Baxenden, we believe that truthfulness is at the heart of living as God wants us to live. Jesus teaches us to be honest in our words and actions, reminding us that we can always trust Him because He is “the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6). Being truthful means telling the truth, admitting our mistakes, and doing the right thing even when it is difficult. By following Jesus’ example, we learn to build trusting relationships with others and show respect, kindness and integrity in everything we do.
Talk about how your child can be truthful – being truthful is not easy, but it is the right thing to do!
